Enrofloxacin is a quinolones antibacterial agent, acts by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase (a type-II topoisomerase), thereby preventing DNA supercoiling and DNA synthesis, which results in cell death. It is used to treat a range of bacterial infections: hemorrhagic septicemic disease, gill-rot disease, fish enteritis, red-fin disease, edwardsiellosis, etc.
Mix with feed. 10-20mg/kg body weight/day, 5-7 consecutive times.
1. May cause problems in the development of bones/joints of young growing animals.
2. Avoid taking with substances containing positive ions (Al3+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Fe2+, Zn2+) together.
3. Incompatible with antagonism drugs such as terracycline antibiotics, rifampicine, and florfenicol.
Keep the container tightly closed. Store in a cool, dry area.
